How Our Pigeon Nets Installation Works
A pigeon net is only as good as its fitting. A loose edge or a gap at the ceiling is all a pigeon needs to get back in. This page explains exactly how Sai Sri Safety Nets installs pigeon nets in Hyderabad, what you need to prepare and how to look after the net afterwards. Not sure which net you need yet? Start with our pigeon nets buying guide.
Step-by-Step Installation Process
- Survey and measurement – we measure every opening and check the wall, slab and grill so we know where fixings can go.
- Choosing the net – material, mesh and colour are confirmed with you based on the location and the birds you are dealing with.
- Fixing points – stainless steel hooks are anchored along the edges at regular intervals so the net is held evenly.
- Perimeter rope or wire – a strong rope or wire is run through the hooks to form a frame around the opening.
- Net fitting and tensioning – the net is cut to size, tied to the frame all around and pulled tight so there are no loose edges or sagging.
- Gap check and cleanup – we check corners, pipes and grill joints for gaps, then clean up drilling dust and offcuts.
How to Prepare for the Visit
- Clear the balcony or work area edge so the installers can reach it.
- Remove any old nests and eggs beforehand.
- Let your apartment security know so the team can bring tools and a ladder in.
- Have power available for the drill.
Aftercare
Nets need very little care. Wash dust off with water occasionally, keep sharp objects and hot items such as cigarettes away from the net, and call us if you notice a tear so it can be patched before birds find it.
Installation at Height
For high-rise ducts, elevations and large spans, our team works with safety harnesses and plans access in advance. Large commercial jobs are covered on our bird protection nets page.
